Job Satisfaction.
[reblogged from scienceblogs.com]
If you take pride in what you do, then your work will always be a very rewarding experience. This applies to all industries in the world and makes any job far more enjoyable. Going into work intent on doing your very best each day is a very healthy attitude to have. It will rub off on your colleagues and most employers will respond by treating you with a good deal of respect.
But having pride in your work is not restricted to your daily output. If you are sent on a training course then it should always be seen as a way of bettering yourself. Learning new skills means that you are increasing your knowledge and any certificates you receive are evidence of this. Many people will be genuinely proud to be awarded a certificate and it will give them a real sense of personal achievement.
You may have passed a course in biochemistry or you might have completed your food hygiene training. It doesn’t matter what sector you are working in, you will still feel great about furthering your knowledge and ability.

I agree with this post wholeheartedly! I was at quite a low point in my life a few years ago and going through different training courses has made me feel far more positive about myself. *****

This is very true. Achieving things is very important to us all and it gives us a wonderful feeling when we learn new skills.
